If there’s one recipe to keep in your ‘Mom Arsenal’ it’s got to be this one. These Honey ‘galettes’ earned me ‘Best Cookies’ on my street a few years running 😉
They are best made as is, but I suppose you could replace the margarine with butter.

1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup milk
4 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 325F.
Cream margarine and add brown sugar and honey.
Combine flour and baking soda. Add to 1st mixture alternating with the milk.
Add egg and vanilla. Mix well.
Drop by tablespoon on a parchment covered cookie sheet.
Bake about 15 minutes. Let cool on wire rack.
